The challenge
Mac users switch between calendar, mail, notes and chat apps constantly, and existing AI assistants live in a browser tab rather than in the operating system. Nothing was watching, listening or acting across the apps someone already had open.
Our approach
We built Halo as a native macOS experience from scratch. It is a voice first assistant that sits in the notch, runs on the device by default for privacy, and plugs straight into Calendar, Mail, Slack, Notion, Reminders and Spotify.
The outcome
Halo shipped as a downloadable macOS app that processes on the device, automates across apps and has a landing site that explains and sells it. A complete idea to production run for a native desktop product.
